Description:
Metal film resistors are a fixed form type resistor. They are constructed out of a ceramic carrier with a thin pure metal film around it, that functions as resistive material.

1. General
1.1 Scope This specification is available for Metal Film Fixed Resistor manufactured by,it accords with RoHS test of Environment related substance requirement.
1.2 Type designation (example)
The type designation shall be in the following form and as specified. MF 1/4 W 10K J T52
1.3 Rated power Rated power is maximum power which can be continuously loaded at specified ambient temperature 70℃,as Table-1;however when the ambient temperature exceeds 70℃,rated power should be determined from the derating curve of Fig.1.

1.4 Rated voltage
The rated voltage shall be the D.C. or A.C.(R.M.S. at power frequency) voltage which corresponds the rated power and the value of which is calculated from the formula below.
